I do not recommend it except for Pm service or simple operations. Very unsuccessful in solving problem. It is nothing more than a waste of time and money. ****** Your response is exactly why I left the review. I repeatedly told your technicians about a 5V current issue, an oxidized socket, and a possible short circuit. Instead of properly diagnosing that, the shop generated over $10,000 in charges without solving the actual problem. After I took the car back, I found the real cause myself: a water leak from the thermostat housing that melted the connector. Once the thermostat and the damaged socket were replaced, every issue disappeared. Leaving a review after paying a large amount of money for unsuccessful work is not โchildish.โ Itโs feedback. You received that feedback. Calling customers names and claiming they didnโt reach out does not change the fact that the root cause was missed. Iโm glad youโre refunding the money. That part is appreciated. The rest of the attitude is not. Update: This morning the shop called me and started swearing and insulting me over the phone. When I tried to speak, they continued with more abuse, so I hung up. This kind of behavior shows exactly w

Have been going to this place for at least 5 years. I always see people smiling when they come to pick up their cars. Owner and the guy are very friendly. They also make recommendation (like this is old car, is it worthed to fix the alarm)? This has been our trusted mechanic in our neighborhood!

I had a very frustrating experience with KPS Princeton Garage. I brought my car in for an A/C repair and was given an outrageous initial quote. They estimated about 5 hours of work, but the labor charges for the expansion valve and compressor were listed separately despite having significant overlapping work. This brought the labor cost to $1,080โwhich is $216/hour and completely unacceptable. After I pushed back on the pricing, they offered a discount, so I went through with the repair. However, the issues continued at pickup. I asked if I could pay by card and the staff member said yes, but she failed to mention any extra charges. When I looked at the receipt, the total was higher than agreed upon because of a hidden 3.5% credit card surcharge. When I questioned it, she claimed there was a sign posted, then backtracked when she couldn't actually find one. Between the predatory initial pricing and the lack of transparency regarding fees, I found their business practices to be dishonest. I will not be returning. Be warned.

Itโs disappointing to see a business owner spend so much time responding defensively to negative reviews instead of taking accountability and addressing legitimate concerns. Imagine if that same energy were put into improving the business and customer experience. After apparently being in business for โ40+ years,โ you would think the motto โthe customer is always rightโ would still carry some meaning. But judging by the responses here, that doesnโt seem to be the case. When an owner responds with sarcasm, excuses, or blame toward customers, it raises serious concerns about how issues might be handled if something actually goes wrong with your vehicle. Several responses appear to shift blame onto the customer while dismissing concerns as โmisunderstandingsโ or claiming the business already โdid their part.โ That kind of attitude doesnโt inspire confidence. If the tone used in public replies to reviews is this defensive and dismissive, it makes you wonder what the experience would be like behind closed doors. Itโs also surprising to see premature or combative replies even to simple 1-star reviews that donโt include explanations. Rather than reflecting on potential issues, the resp

I strongly recommend that you take your car for service @ KPS. I rolled a 1948 Willy's Jeepster - that's right, a 70 year old car - into the garage with serious engine problems. Not only were the folks at KPS able to diagnose the intake/exhaust manifold issue, they were patient with me for several days while I found various replacement parts and instantaneous with the repair once the right parts arrived. Steve, our mechanic, also went the extra mile tweaking several other components to make the car run smoother and faster. I'm guessing our Jeepster hasn't run this well for 25 years. Many many thanks KPS! We'll be back, and you should stop by too. Best, Cal and Rick
